    The 1st China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition in Silicon Valley

    The Global Chamber® San Francisco (GCSF) is proud to partner with Silicon Valley Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (SVIEF) on its next event: The First China (Shenzhen) Innovation & Entrepreneurship International Competition (the "Competition"), which will be held in Santa Clara Convention Center on March 19, 2017.

    The Competition is guided by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the PRC, the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs, P.R.C, sponsored by Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government, and hosted by Longgang District People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, Pingshan  District People’s Government of Shenzhen Municipality, the Human Resources and Social Security Administration of Shenzhen Municipality and the Science & Technology Innovation Committee of Shenzhen Municipality. In response to the call for “mass entrepreneurship and innovation by all” and as guided by the concept of an “international, high-end, market-driven and professional” competition, the Competition aims to provide a development platform for talents to learn from each other and to innovate.     The Competition is open to all high-caliber overseas talents and projects regardless of nationality. The Competition will offer generous awards totaling RMB 9,120,000 Yuan to the winners. Single competitors can be awarded up to RMB 1,250,000  (government subsidies and venture capital investment not included). 60 venture capital institutions will build a venture capital pool amounting to RMB 700 million  for portfolio investment in winning projects. All entries can be linked with the service platform via corresponding competition investment and gain outside investment opportunities. Meanwhile, they will also be invited to attend The Conference on International Exchange of Professionals held in China.  
    In addition, this competition will also offer supporting policies in talent management incentives, industrial incentives, technological finance, project incubation and others.

    Silicon Valley Sector is scheduled on 3/19 at Santa Clara Convention Center. We are looking for projects from the following fields:

    1. Internet and mobile Internet (information technology)
    2. Electronic science and technology
    3. Biological and life science and technology
    4. Advanced manufacturing
    5. Material and energy (including energy saving and environmental protection)
